Dinner & Silent Auction

Morningside Shelter holds an annual dinner and silent auction each winter at the Putney Inn in Putney, Vermont. The evening includes live music, New England cuisine, a raffle drawing for prizes of exceptional value, and a silent auction with items from local craftspeople, innkeepers, restaurants and businesses.

The Annual Holiday Appeal begins in December and the Annual Appeal in April.

The number of homeless men, women and children in Windham County continues to rise, while a shift in national funding priorities for programs that support the homeless is making local support more critical and necessary. The only hope for keeping these programs viable is to solicit as many local dollars as possible.
